When installing chain conveyor belts, pay attention to the following:

First, ensure that the ground is level and solid when selecting the installation location to prevent the conveyor from shaking or tilting during operation, which could affect its stability and efficiency. Consider the spatial requirements of the installation environment, providing sufficient space for the conveyor to operate and undergo maintenance while allowing personnel to work without colliding with surrounding equipment or obstacles.
Second, the foundation's dimensions and strength should be reasonably designed based on the conveyor's model and specifications. This ensures that the foundation can withstand the weight of the conveyor and its transported materials. This prevents damage to the equipment caused by an unstable foundation.
Furthermore, the installation of the chain plates is critical. Securely connect the chain plates with no loosening or misalignment. The chain tension should be appropriate. Excessive slack may cause the chain plates to jump or slip, which affects conveying performance. Excessive tension increases operational resistance and wear. Additionally, adjust the chain plate tracks to ensure they are straight and level, enabling smooth operation.
The installation of the drive unit is also critical. Securely connect the drive unit to the chain plate conveyor and precisely align the transmission components to ensure effective power transmission. Finally, provide adequate cooling conditions for the drive unit to prevent overheating and ensure normal operation.
